While the month of November usually brings cool weather, the action was heating up at the track!  With the World of Outlaws World Finals and the North/South Shoot Out here in the same weekend, there was plenty of hot racing action going on.  Here’s a rundown of the weekends results.

 

World of Outlaws Late Models……………..

On Wednesday the Hungry-Man Topless Showdown produced harsh track conditions for all of the drivers.  Chub Frank was struck in the helmet by a chunk of mud which broke the front of his helmet and was transported to the hospital with a broken eye socket.  The caution was thrown a total of four times for drivers being hit with mud causing the race to be run on Thursday after the qualifying sessions.  Safety Solutions drivers Cruz Pedregon, Ricky Weeks, Rick Biggs, and Chub Frank struggled to get a hold of the track.
